Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in language and communication services, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. Tasks include creating proposals, coordinating with internal teams for project execution, and conducting market research to uncover growth opportunities. The Business Development Manager will also actively engage with potential clients, represent the company at industry events, and contribute to the development of sales strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development: Proven ability in client acquisition, negotiating deals, and achieving sales targets.
- Communication and Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal, networking, and client relationship management skills with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
- Market Research and Strategy: Experience conducting market analysis, identifying growth areas, and developing actionable business strategies.
- Organizational and Coordination Skills: Ability to manage cross-functional teams, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Proficiency in Tools and Software: Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and project management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in language services, localization, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Innovative and Goal-Oriented: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and goal-driven mentality to exceed targets.
- Availability for periodic in-person meetings in Bengaluru and willingness to travel for client visits or industry events as required.
