Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Navi Mumbai. The Business Development Manager will identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in key sectors, including banking, insurance, finance, telecom, payments, and healthcare. Responsibilities include building and managing a sales pipeline, conducting market and competitor analysis, preparing proposals, and delivering client presentations and product demonstrations. The role involves nurturing long-term client relationships, collaborating with technical and product teams to shape solutions, and negotiating contracts to close deals. The Business Development Manager will also track performance metrics, provide regular revenue forecasts, and contribute feedback to enhance CredenceSoft’s offerings and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within IT services, SaaS, or technology consulting environments.
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify new sectors or accounts for growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Experience collaborating with technical, product, and delivery teams to shape client proposals and solutions.
- Strong relationship-building and client management skills, with a focus on long-term partnerships and customer success.
- Comfort working with sales tools and CRM platforms to track activities, opportunities, and performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Exposure to domains such as banking, insurance, finance, telecom, payments, or healthcare is highly beneficial.
- Self-driven, target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
