Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, and expand the company’s presence in target markets. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, presenting appropriate cleaning solutions, preparing proposals, and negotiating commercial terms. The role involves collaborating with internal teams such as sales, service, and operations to ensure smooth execution of contracts and high customer satisfaction. The Business Development Manager will also analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, provide regular sales forecasts and reports, and participate in trade shows, demos, and client visits as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or key account management, ideally in capital equipment, industrial products, or facility management solutions.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals within defined timelines.
- Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into clear value propositions for customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including comfort with CRM tools, sales metrics, and market research.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, demonstrations, and industry events as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the cleaning machines, industrial equipment, or facility services sector is preferred but not mandatory.
