About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in an advertising agency and strong exposure to event-based projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and expanding our presence across integrated marketing and event solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across advertising, branding, and event services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brands, and corporate partners
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closure
- Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, and event teams to deliver customized solutions
- Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue targets
- Manage RFPs, proposals, and presentations for clients across industries
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Drive cross-selling opportunities between advertising and event verticals
- Represent the organization at industry events, networking meets, and client interactions
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an advertising or media industry, with a strong focus on business development
- Proven experience in handling event-based projects (corporate events, brand activations, exhibitions, etc.)
- Strong network of clients and industry contacts is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing solutions (digital, offline, events, branding)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience working with advertising and media industry
- Exposure to large-scale event planning and execution
