Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Fire & Life Safety segment. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting solutions such as fire curtains, fire-rated barriers, emergency lighting, exit signage, and integrated safety systems across commercial, industrial, and data centre projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Development & Sales :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in sectors like IT parks, data centres, commercial real estate, healthcare, and industrial facilities
- Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and convert opportunities into orders
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue growth objectives
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
2. Client Relationship Management :
- Build long-term relationships with consultants, architects, MEP consultants, PMC firms, and end clients
- Act as a key point of contact for major accounts
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable fire & life safety solutions
3. Technical and solution selling :
- Promote products such as:
Fire curtains
Emergency LED exit signages
Water leak detection & rodent repellent systems
SMPS based power supplies
Industrial emergency lighting systems
- Coordinate with technical and design teams to develop compliant solutions
4. Tendering and project handling :
- Track and participate in tenders and large project opportunities
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Work closely with execution teams to ensure smooth project handover
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics preferred)
- MBA (Sales/Marketing) is an advantage
Experience:
- 3-6 years in business development or sales within:
- Fire & life safety industry
- Building safety systems
- MEP / HVAC / Building automation
Skills:
- Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills
- Technical understanding of fire safety systems
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work with consultants and influence specifications
- CRM and pipeline management
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to data centre projects and mission-critical infrastructure
- Experience with fire compartmentation or passive fire protection systems
- Existing network with architects, consultants, and developers
