Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) who will be
responsible for:
- Onboarding new vendors and fleet partners
- Expanding franchise partnerships across cities
- Managing B2B accounts and operational coordination
- Driving revenue growth and business expansion
This role requires a strong mix of business development, vendor management, operational oversight,
and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Onboarding & Acquisition
- Identify and onboard b2b new vendors and fleet partners.
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure smooth documentation, compliance, and onboarding processes.
2. Franchise Development & Expansion
- Identify and close franchise partners in target markets.
- Present and pitch Bijliride’s business model and growth potential.
- Manage end-to-end franchise onboarding and setup support.
- Guide franchise partners during initial launch and operational stages.
3. Business Growth & Revenue Generation
- Drive revenue growth through new partnerships and B2B accounts.
- Develop expansion strategies in assigned territories.
- Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
- Build long-term scalable business relationships.4. Business Operations & Vendor Management.
- Maintain strong relationships with B2B partners through regular follow-ups.
- Monitor vehicle deployments and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate recovery of overdue or idle vehicles.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and operational SOPs.
5. IoT Fleet Monitoring & Coordination
- Oversee tracking and monitoring of IoT-enabled vehicles.
- Manage inbound and outbound vehicle movements efficiently.
- Ensure accurate reporting of fleet data and deployment status.
6. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of deployments, returns, recoveries, and acquisitions.
- Prepare periodic business performance reports.
- Generate insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Track pipeline, closures, and partner performance metrics.
7. Cross-Functional & 3PL Coordination
- Coordinate with operations, finance, legal, and service teams.
- Work closely with 3PL partners for smooth ground-level execution.
- Act as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Resolve partner concerns efficiently.
8. Compliance & Audit Support
- Conduct structured vendor audits.
- Ensure documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Perform field visits for operational checks when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, or related
field.
- 1–4 years of experience in Business Development, Vendor Acquisition, Franchise Sales, Key
- Account Management, or Operations.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience working in target-driven environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets (reporting & analysis).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel for market visits and partner meetings.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in EV, automobile, fleet management, logistics, or startup ecosystem.
- Prior experience in franchise development or channel sales.
- Exposure to IoT-enabled fleet or vehicle tracking systems.
