Job Summary
We are looking for a highly driven and well-connected Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Travel & Tourism industry, especially within the B2B travel ecosystem of North India. The ideal candidate must possess an extensive network of travel agencies, corporate travel planners, and tourism associations. This role demands an energetic professional who can represent the brand, build high-impact partnerships, and drive revenue growth for Bharat Caravans in the Northern region.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in North India.
- Identify new market segments, corporate accounts, and partnership opportunities across tourism, hospitality, and events.
- Conduct market/competitor research to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Leverage industry network to onboard B2B travel partners, corporate travel desks, DMCs, and event planners.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, roadshows, and product demonstrations highlighting Bharat Caravans’ unique offerings.
- Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, finalize commercial terms, and close business deals.
- Maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Sales & Pipeline Management
- Maintain an updated CRM system with leads, interactions, follow-ups, and sales funnel progress.
- Track conversion rates, revenue contribution, and pipeline health; prepare weekly and monthly business reports.
- Manage pricing discussions and coordinate special packages for travel partners, corporates, and influencer collaborations.
Brand Outreach & Field Activities
- Conduct on-ground promotional and display activities at malls, residential complexes, travel exhibitions, tourism events, and corporate workplaces.
- Represent Bharat Caravans at B2B networking forums, trade fairs, and tourism conclaves.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Marketing, Operations, Fleet, and Finance teams for seamless customer service and project execution.
- Provide insights regarding client needs, travel trends, route preferences, and product improvement opportunities.
- Support marketing campaigns, influencer tie-ups, and content collaborations for brand growth.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Travel & Tourism business development, B2B partnerships, or corporate sales.
- Strong network of travel agencies, DMCs, tour operators, and corporate travel planners in North India.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and digital communication tools.
- Prior experience in caravan, luxury travel, adventure tourism, or hotel sales is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and meet revenue targets.

Salary Range: Rs 30,000/- to 45,000/-
