Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Karunagappally. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities across media, entertainment, and e-commerce segments, focusing on digital asset management, hosting, web development, ads management, and chatbot solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, and preparing proposals and commercial offers. The person in this role will manage and grow existing accounts, coordinate with technical and operations teams to scope and deliver solutions, and track sales pipelines and targets. The position also involves conducting market research, analyzing competitor offerings, and providing feedback for product and service improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in digital services, media, entertainment, or IT.
- Strong skills in lead generation, client relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to understand and explain services such as web hosting, web development, ads management, and chatbot solutions in clear business terms.
- Proficiency in preparing sales pitches, proposals, pricing models, and basic sales forecasts or reports.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-informed approach to identifying opportunities and risks.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, online media, and advertising ecosystems is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Karunagappally and travel for client meetings as required.
