This role is for our CLIENT - a major International player in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.
Role Description:
Our client is seeking a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager to join their team in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilites include:
- Identify new business opportunities, conduct field visits, calls & follow-ups with potential customers in the Freight / Logistics / Import-Export line of business.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain proper client data & marketing reports.
- Conduct market research, proposal generation, present tailored solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align client requirements with the service offerings.
What makes you a great fit:
- MINIMUM 3+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN FREIGHT/LOGISTICS/CUSTOMS MANDATORY
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license (MANDATORY)
- Fluent in English & Kannada (MANDATORY) ; Hindi & Telugu (ADVANTAGEOUS)
Other skills
- Proven expertise in Business Development, Client Acquisition, and Strategic Planning
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
- Analytical thinking and experience in Market Research and Sales Forecasting
- Proficiency in Communication, Presentation, and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s or MBA degree in Sales/ Marketing / Logistics, or a related field
