Role: Business Development Manager

Role Description -
-Identify and qualify new business opportunities in domestic market, focusing on EPC contractors, OEMs and industrial buyers.
-Managing the sales pipeline, conducting market research, generating leads, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating terms within company guidelines.
-Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, coordinating product and technical discussions with internal teams, and ensuring proper documentation and follow-up for inquiries and orders.
-Track competitor activity, contribute to pricing strategies, represent the company at client meetings and industry events, and report regularly on sales performance and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in lead generation, opportunity qualification, sales pipeline management, and negotiation.
- Minium 3 years of experience in industrial sales - preferably from the fastener, forging or allied engineering products industry
- Ability to understand technical specifications, standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO) and project documentation related to fasteners or engineered products.
- Effective communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders, including procurement teams and project managers.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital communication platforms for sales reporting and customer follow-up.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a target-driven environment, with strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel for client visits, plant visits, and industry events as required.
