Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager who has experience leading marketing and sales of ERP services within India and across the globe (primarily USA, UK, UAE and Australia) and who can expand our services into new regions by generating leads/opportunities (small- and medium-sized enterprise), acquiring new customers, and creating long-term, trusting relationships. The Business Development Manager’s role is also to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all new and existing customer sales and account management matters
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of competition status
- Conduct marketing campaigns through email and social media platforms for leads generation
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Drive revenue growth in Odoo (ERP) market through identifying new opportunities
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Skills Required
- 8+ years of experience in the field of IT Marketing and Sales as a Business Development Manager or relevant role
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, in Sales or relevant field
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Must have experience in running Marketing campaigns, building marketing strategy and running Marketing Campaigns thru different sources and build corresponding literature to market within India and globally
- Solid experience with any CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions per customer requirements
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
