Role Description
This full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role is based in Chennai. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and generating leads within the SME and MSME sectors. The role includes analyzing market trends, creating business development strategies, conducting client presentations, and working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored financial solutions. The Business Development Manager will also support the preparation of proposals, pitches, and pricing strategies while ensuring client satisfaction and sustainable growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- MBA with 3-5 years of Experience
- Experience in Banking and Financial Sector is preferable
- Prior Experience from the Banking Industry on the Lending Side / Wealth Management is Preferred
- Proven skills in Business Development, Client Acquisition, and Strategic Partnerships
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets, SME IPOs, and Financial Advisory
- Excellent Communication, Presentation, and Negotiation skills
- Ability to Analyze Market Trends and Develop Effective Strategies
- Strong Interpersonal Skills with a Focus on Relationship Management
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling and Proposal Crafting is a plus
- Prior experience in the finance or capital advisory sector is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or equivalent relevant certifications are advantageous
