Position
Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager – OEM Sales
Experience: 5–10 Years
Industry: Structural Adhesives / Thermal Interface Materials / Industrial Advanced Materials
Role Objective
We are seeking a strategic business development professional with an existing OEM / Tier-1 customer network who can identify opportunities, build trust with technical and procurement stakeholders, drive product trials, and convert approvals into commercial business.
This role is ideal for candidates from MNCs or reputed specialty material companies who want broader ownership, faster growth, and direct business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business opportunities for Structural Adhesives, Thermally Conductive Epoxy, and Thermal Interface Materials
- Build and grow relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, EMS companies, EV/battery manufacturers, electronics, and industrial customers
- Leverage existing customer network to open qualified business opportunities
- Drive customer engagement from sample evaluation → trial → validation → approval → commercial conversion
- Lead technical-commercial discussions with R&D, engineering, sourcing, procurement, and quality teams
- Identify new applications where Amatech products can replace imported or global alternatives
- Convert technical discussions into approved and recurring commercial business
- Track project pipelines, qualification cycles, and revenue opportunities
- Support pricing, positioning, and competitive strategy
- Work closely with leadership to build scalable OEM growth channels
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for professionals who have:
Must-Have
- 5–8 years of experience in Structural Adhesives / TIM / Specialty Chemicals / Industrial Materials
- Existing relationships within OEM / Tier-1 / engineering-driven customer ecosystem
- Proven experience in converting technical trials into commercial business
- Strong technical-commercial understanding of adhesive / thermal management products
- Ability to independently manage strategic customer development
- Experience engaging with:
- R&D teams
- Design / Application engineers
- Procurement / Sourcing
- Vendor qualification teams
Preferred
- Experience selling against global/MNC alternatives
- Exposure to automotive, EV, battery, electronics, thermal management, or industrial assembly applications
- Existing warm access to decision-makers within target accounts
- Entrepreneurial and high-ownership mindset
