We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales operations, drive revenue growth, and expand market presence within the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in distributor management, channel sales, team leadership, and achieving aggressive sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and distribution channels.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive business growth.
• Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance objectives.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and execution of trade promotions in the market.
• Conduct regular market visits to evaluate sales performance and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for management review.
• Manage collections, inventory levels, and distributor profitability.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
• Min. 3-5 years of FMCG sales experience, including team management responsibilities.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of distributor management and FMCG sales channels.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
• Experience handling General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), or Rural Markets.
