Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Business Development Manager based in Pune City. The Business Development Manager will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sales plans, negotiating contracts, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients. The role also requires identifying trends, staying informed about industry developments, and providing feedback to improve products and services.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, along with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Experience in market research, data analysis, and identifying new business opportunities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships
- Proficiency in strategic planning, forecasting, and implementing business development initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Previous experience in IT solutions, products, or services is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. An MBA is a plus
- Knowledge of the Pune market and IT industry trends is beneficial
