Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence across Indore and nearby industrial zones like Pithampur. You will own the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—while nurturing long-term client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in B2B sales, understands technical solutions, and has strong connections in the Indore business community.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across all product verticals—CCTV, access control, fire alarm, GPS tracking, networking, and AMC services
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, JustDial leads, and field visits
- Prepare and present customized proposals, quotations, and technical solutions to clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with decision-makers including facility managers, IT heads, and business owners
Market Development
- Map and penetrate key customer segments: manufacturing units (Pithampur), real estate developers (Super Corridor), educational institutions, hospitals, and retail chains
- Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through industry events, trade associations, and networking
- Track competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and AMC renewals
- Conduct regular client visits to understand evolving security and infrastructure needs
- Ensure smooth handover to the technical team for project execution and follow up on customer satisfaction
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, proposals, and sales activities in CRM/Google Sheets
- Provide weekly sales reports and pipeline updates to the Director
- Coordinate with the technical team on site surveys, BOQ preparation, and project timelines
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electronics, or related field
Experience:
- 3-6 years in B2B sales, preferably in ELV systems, IT infrastructure, security solutions, or related technical products
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Skills:
- Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, fire alarm, networking, or GPS tracking solutions (preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Hindi and English
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools
- Own vehicle and valid driving license for client visits
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality for new business
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients across industries
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network in Indore's manufacturing, real estate, or commercial sectors
- Experience selling to government or PSU clients
- Familiarity with tender processes and GeM portal
- Technical certifications from brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, ZKTeco, or TP-Link
