Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and expand the company’s presence in target markets. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, and understanding client needs to align them with 91 Blackboard’s training and strategic solutions. The role also involves preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions, and tracking performance against sales and growth targets. The Business Development Manager will be expected to provide market insights, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to long-term business planning.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with a track record of meeting growth targets.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable strategies and proposals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and managing multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
- Comfort working with digital tools and platforms to support outreach, reporting, and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or training organizations is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
