Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, and conduct market and competitor research to inform go-to-market strategies. The role involves developing and delivering client presentations, proposals, and demos in collaboration with product and technical teams. The individual will manage end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, negotiation, and deal closure, while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities also include setting and tracking sales targets, preparing regular performance reports, and providing feedback to internal teams to improve offerings and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within software or technology services.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and close deals against defined revenue targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Experience conducting market research, identifying customer needs, and translating them into commercial opportunities.
- Comfort working on-site with cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to tracking performance, forecasting, and reporting on sales activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and standard sales processes; experience in a fast-paced or growth-stage environment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple opportunities, and adapt to changing client and market needs.
