Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for a Business Development Manager/Area Sales Manager. The role involves driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and developing effective sales strategies. The candidate will meet sales targets, conduct market research to identify trends, and represent the company at industry events. Additionally, the role requires effective collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support business goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, and Account Management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build lasting client relationships
- Strategic thinking and expertise in market analysis and customer segmentation
- Proficiency in negotiation, deal closing, and achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the flooring or building materials industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Ability and willingness to travel locally as needed for client meetings
