Business Development Manager (Sales) - B2B Cognition

Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven and result-oriented Sales Manager – B2B to lead our sales efforts at Cognition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a sales team, driving lead generation, and owning the complete sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Identify and generate new B2B leads through outbound efforts, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Sales Execution
- Qualify leads, understand client needs, and present tailored solutions
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiation → closure
- Client Engagement
- Meet potential clients in person to build relationships and close deals
- Maintain long-term relationships with key clients
- Team Management
- Manage and mentor a team of sales executives
- Track team performance and ensure target achievement
- Target Ownership
- Set, monitor, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Ensure consistent revenue growth
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in managing a sales team
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with field sales and client meetings
- Self-driven, aggressive, and execution-focused mindset
