Position: Business Development Manager – US Staffing

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development professional with strong expertise in US Staffing and IT Consulting sales. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in acquiring direct clients, MSP/VMS accounts, and building long-term business relationships in the US market.
The candidate should possess strong understanding of US recruitment processes, staffing lifecycle, rate negotiations, client acquisition strategies, and team coordination. Experience in handling enterprise accounts, implementation partners, and staffing delivery alignment is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new Direct Clients for US IT Staffing business.
- Generate new business through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn networking, references, and market research.
- Develop relationships with Hiring Managers, Procurement Teams, MSPs, and Vendor Management Teams.
- Bring in new MSP/VMS opportunities and manage existing accounts effectively.
- Coordinate with internal recruitment teams for quick delivery and closure of requirements.
- Understand client hiring needs and provide staffing solutions accordingly.
- Negotiate contracts, rate cards, MSA/SOW agreements, and payment terms with clients.
- Maintain strong pipeline management and forecasting for closures and revenue generation.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and business reviews.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to account closure.
- Work closely with leadership team for strategic business expansion in the US market.
- Ensure revenue growth, account penetration, and client retention.
- Stay updated on US staffing trends, technologies, and market competition.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in US IT Staffing Business Development.
- Strong experience in Direct Client Acquisition and Account Management.
- Hands-on experience working with MSP/VMS models.
- Strong understanding of US Staffing processes, tax terms, and employment models (W2, C2C, 1099).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in achieving revenue and closure targets.
- Strong network within US Staffing ecosystem.
- Ability to work independently and drive business growth.
- Experience working with ATS, CRM tools, and job portals.
- Good understanding of IT technologies and hiring trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in IT Consulting / Staffing Companies.
- Existing client relationships and active business network in US market will be an added advantage.
- Experience handling Offshore Delivery coordination.
- Exposure to AI, Data, Cloud, ERP, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Java, and emerging technology staffing requirements is preferred.
