About the position:
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to expand our RFID and Industrial IoT solutions business in India.
This role is ideal for a sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in building new markets and developing strategic customer relationships.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role, focused on new business development and market expansion. The position does not include people management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Drive New Business: Actively identify, develop, and close new opportunities for RFID and Industrial IoT solutions across key industries.
- Expand Market Presence: Build on our existing footprint in India and help scale our regional business by developing strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Regional Contribution: Support business development initiatives across India and selected Southeast Asian markets when relevant.
- Target Industries: Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Logistics & Warehousing, Supply Chain & Retail, Industrial Automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in RFID, Industrial IoT, Auto-ID, or related technology sales, with a strong track record of new business development in India.
- Strong understanding of RFID (UHF, NFC, HF), BLE, and IoT ecosystems.
- Industry Background: Work experience in companies such as those in the Auto-ID, Barcode, RFID IC chips supply and RFID Hardware/Software is highly valued.
- Proven success meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable operating independently, building pipeline from scratch, and identifying new market opportunities.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the RFID ecosystem and industrial technology landscape in India, with an established network across relevant sectors.
- Performance Orientation: Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline, close deals, and deliver consistent sales results.
- Sales Skills: Identify, qualify, and capture new sales opportunities with a strong hunter mindset. Engage clients through a consultative selling approach to deliver value-driven RFID solutions.
- Fluent English.
