MM Foam is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive institutional, dealership, and distribution network growth across India. The ideal candidate will bring strong market insight, proven sales performance, and the ability to expand our footprint in the competitive mattress and sleep solutions industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Business Expansion & Market Development

  • Identify, target, and onboard new institutional clients, dealers, and distributors across PAN India.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market penetration and brand presence.

• Channel Development

  • Build and strengthen a robust dealer and distributor network.
  • Drive consistent engagement and performance from channel partners.

• Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional buyers and trade partners.
  • Act as a trusted partner to clients by understanding their requirements and offering suitable product solutions.

• Sales Performance & Targets

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms with clients and partners.

• Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Provide actionable insights to support product positioning and pricing strategies.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams (production, logistics, marketing) to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

 

 Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in mattresses, furniture, consumer durables, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Strong experience in institutional sales, dealership, and distribution network development.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage clients and partners across multiple regions.
  • Language proficiency in Hindi and English is mandatory.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and willing to travel extensively.

 

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

 

 Location & Travel

  • Base Location: Bangalore
  • Territory: PAN India
  • Travel: Approximately 10–12 days per month
