Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Business Development professional to support the growth of our Hyperscaler Data Center business. The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic customer relationships, and driving solution-based engagements within the rapidly evolving data center ecosystem. The ideal candidate should possess strong market understanding of hyperscaler environments, data center infrastructure, and advanced cooling technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives for Hyperscaler and large-scale Data Center customers.
- Identify, develop, and manage opportunities across new and existing accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including consultants, EPCs, operators, OEMs, and end customers.
- Understand customer requirements and align suitable data center cooling solutions to business needs.
- Work closely with technical, pre-sales, and delivery teams to develop customized proposals and commercial offerings.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the data center industry.
- Support bid management, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Develop account growth strategies and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Represent the organization at industry events, customer meetings, and strategic discussions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in Business Development / Sales within Data Centers, Critical Infrastructure, HVAC, Cooling Solutions, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of hyperscaler business environments and large-scale data center operations.
- Strong understanding of data center cooling technologies, including:
- CRAH / CRAC units
- In-row & In-rack cooling solutions
- Liquid Cooling technologies such as CDU, Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC), and Immersion Cooling
- Good understanding of critical infrastructure and thermal management solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complex customer engagements and long sales cycles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required for customer engagements and business development activities.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Hyperscaler, Colocation, or Enterprise Data Center customers.
- Familiarity with emerging AI-driven data center infrastructure requirements and high-density cooling environments.
- Existing industry network within the data center ecosystem will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8 - 12 years' prior industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
