Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager – Export Sales specializing in rice markets within the Middle East region. The position is based in Hyderabad, India. The manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, and monitor market trends to contribute to strategic decision-making.
We are preferably looking for a person who has worked in the Middle East and is interested in working from India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and onboard international buyers and distributors.
- Drive export sales growth in Middle East & global markets.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and volumes with overseas partners.
- Manage export documentation, logistics, and compliance.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences.
- Represent the brand at international trade fairs and exhibitions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of export sales experience.
- MBA in International Business/Marketing is preferred but not mandatory
- Prior exposure to rice or food commodity exports is strongly preferred
- Hands-on leadership experience in the FMCG /Food domain.
