Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5–6 Product Line Specialists across automation product portfolios.
  • Define clear performance goals, track progress, and drive capability development.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and innovation-driven culture.

Business Development

  • Drive business growth and market penetration for the Industrial Automation portfolio in South India.
  • Identify new opportunities across industries, OEMs, and channel partners, and develop actionable growth strategies.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through demand generation initiatives.
  • Partner with sales teams to improve product penetration and achieve revenue targets.

Strategic & Operational Responsibilities

  • Manage pricing strategies, including standard pricing and special pricing agreements, in line with company guidelines.
  • Ensure strong product presence and offer penetration across key markets and channels.
  • Develop and scale application-based solutions to enhance customer value propositions.
  • Drive optimal product mix to improve margins and overall profitability.
  • Collaborate with national teams to convert high-value opportunities into successful wins.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Channel Partners, and Business Units to execute aligned go-to-market strategies.
  • Participate in joint customer engagements to support solution positioning and deal closure.
  • Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to strengthen product offerings.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related field); MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in industrial automation, business development, or product management.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive strategy execution and deliver business results in a competitive market.
