About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Lead to drive sponsorship sales, exhibitor acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and delegate participation for our corporate events, conferences, expos, and leadership summits.
The ideal candidate should have strong industry connections, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in B2B sales within the events, media, exhibition, or conference industry.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and acquire sponsors, exhibitors, and partners for corporate events and expos.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, marketing heads, CSR teams, procurement leaders, and industry stakeholders.
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and client meetings.
- Prepare sponsorship proposals, presentations, and customized partnership solutions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sponsorship and exhibition deals.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth client deliverables and branding execution.
- Maintain sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and CRM updates.
- Represent the company at industry networking events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Build long-term partnerships with industry associations and corporate brands.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience in business development, sponsorship sales, or corporate event sales are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Events, or related field.
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales, exhibition sales, or corporate event business development.
- Strong understanding of B2B event industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve revenue targets.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email communication.
