Role Description The Business Development Lead is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Horizon’s client base in IT staffing and business solutions. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and developing targeted outreach strategies. The Business Development Lead will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals. Day-to-day activities include building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, collaborating with recruitment and delivery teams to align offerings with client needs, and preparing proposals, presentations, and reports. The role also includes monitoring industry trends, tracking performance metrics, and continuously refining business development strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to identify trends, assess opportunities, and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to present solutions clearly, negotiate effectively, and build long-term client relationships.
- Candidates should possess proven Lead Generation experience, including prospecting, pipeline building, and managing the full business development lifecycle.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to ensure a positive client experience, manage expectations, and support ongoing account growth.
- Experience in IT staffing, consulting, or technology services sales is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic productivity software (e.g., MS Office or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
