JOB TITLE- Business Development Internship

Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, driven, and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our growth team at The Click Oven. In this role, you will support the end-to-end business development process—from identifying potential clients to assisting in closing deals—while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and researching potential clients, industries, and business opportunities
- Generate and qualify leads through multiple channels including LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, and other platforms
- Support the sales cycle by assisting in lead nurturing, follow-ups, and client communication
- Help in preparing and delivering pitches, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs
- Clearly understand and communicate the company’s service offerings and value proposition
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, and operations) to ensure smooth client onboarding and execution
- Maintain and update lead databases, track outreach efforts, and monitor performance metrics
- Gather market insights and client feedback to contribute to sales strategies and business growth initiatives
- Assist in achieving weekly/monthly outreach and lead generation targets
Requirements
- Recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and business development concepts
- Comfortable with outreach, client interaction, and consultative selling
- Familiarity with tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Office
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a startup environment
- Previous internship experience in business development or sales is a plus
