Business Development Intern - School Partnerships
Location: Hyderabad (Field + Hybrid)
Reporting To: Founder
Duration: 3-6 Months
Stipend: ₹10,000 to 15,000 per month
PPO: Yes (Performance-Based)

Urban School is building solutions for the education ecosystem. With the launch of the Urban Teacher App, a dedicated community and recruitment platform for teachers, we aim to streamline teacher hiring for schools and create meaningful connections between educators and institutions.

We are now expanding our school partnerships across Hyderabad and are looking for a driven Business Development Intern to support this growth.
Role Overview
We are looking for a confident, proactive, and well-spoken Business Development Intern who will support on-ground school partnerships across Hyderabad.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify schools, initiate outreach, assist in meetings, support onboarding, and maintain follow-ups with partnered institutions.
This is a high-learning, field-focused role ideal for someone who wants real exposure to institutional sales and EdTech partnerships.
This is not a desk internship, you will be meeting school decision-makers and learning how B2B education sales works in the real world.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research private, CBSE, ICSE, State Board, and International schools across Hyderabad
- Schedule and assist in conducting in-person meetings with school management, principals, and HR teams
- Present Urban Teacher and explain its recruitment benefits (training will be provided)
- Support onboarding of schools onto the platform
- Coordinate internally to ensure hiring needs are fulfilled
- Share structured weekly updates with the Founder
- Support in achieving monthly onboarding targets
Key Skills & Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed Graduation / MBA (Marketing, Business, or related field preferred)
- Strong communication skills in Telugu, Hindi, and English (mandatory)
- Confident, persuasive, and presentable personality
- Comfortable with field visits and institutional selling
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage assigned territory responsibly
- Target-driven and eager to learn
