Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Intern who can support our sales and operations team. The ideal candidate should have an interest in technology, especially data science and AI tools, along with strong coordination and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and analyze incoming Job Descriptions (JDs) from clients or resource teams
• Understand required skill sets including tools, technologies, and domain requirements
• Map relevant internal Data Engineers / Data Analysts profiles against JD requirements
• Reframe and tailor resumes to highlight relevant experience, tools, and project alignment
• Ensure technical accuracy while enhancing presentation of skills (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Python, ETL tools, BI tools, etc.)
• Collaborate with engineering/resource managers to validate profile fitment
• Maintain a tracker of JD-to-profile mappings for reporting purposes
• Research and identify new external talent vendors / staffing partners in the Data & AI market
• Evaluate vendors based on capabilities, talent availability, pricing models, and domain expertise
• Build a structured database of vendors for future staffing and resource scaling needs
Required Experience & Qualifications
• Basic understanding of Data Engineering / Data Analytics concepts
• Ability to read and interpret technical job descriptions
• Strong research and analytical thinking ability
• Good written communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, ETL tools, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to structure information clearly
