Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Intern based out of Delhi, India. The intern will be responsible for conducting market research, generating leads, assisting with client relationship management, and exploring new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks also include working collaboratively with the team, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting business growth initiatives.
We are looking for a smart, driven, and people-oriented Business Development Intern who wants real exposure to sales, client acquisition, and building a wellness brand from the ground up.
This is not a typical internship — you will directly contribute to revenue and growth and get a commission based on what you generate!
Things you will be doing
- Identify and reach out to potential corporate clients (HRs, Admin teams, Founders)
- Generate leads via LinkedIn, email, and cold outreach
- Pitch The Maalish Co.’s services in a clear, confident way
- Set up meetings and support client conversions
- Maintain a lead tracker and follow-up pipeline
- Assist in partnerships, collaborations, and on-ground activations
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for identifying market trends and evaluating business opportunities
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service abilities to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience in Lead Generation and Market Research
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
Bonus
- Prior internship in sales / business development
- Experience with LinkedIn outreach or CRM tools
- Interest in impact-driven or inclusive businesses
- Can handle creative messaging
