As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in identifying business opportunities, interacting with potential clients, and contributing to the company’s growth strategies. This internship will help you develop professional communication, negotiation, and business management skills while working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients, business opportunities, and target markets
- Generate leads through cold calling, email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, and networking platforms
- Connect with prospective clients to explain company services and offerings
- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and clients to build professional relationships
- Assist the business development team in achieving sales and growth targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and follow-up activities in CRM or Excel sheets
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth communication and client support
- Prepare daily and weekly activity reports for the reporting manager
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions
- Support business expansion initiatives and contribute ideas for improving lead generation processes
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed graduation/post-graduation in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Commerce, or related fields
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, and business development concepts
- Comfortable with client interaction and outbound communication
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, MS Office, Google Sheets, or CRM tools will be an added advantage
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to learn in a professional environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage tasks effectively
