Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Intern. The intern will support lead generation efforts, conduct market research to identify potential opportunities, assist in preparing proposals and presentations, and maintain positive customer relationships. Additional responsibilities will include analyzing data to identify trends and providing insights to enhance the business development strategy. Collaboration with internal teams and clear communication with clients will be key aspects of this role.
KRAs
1. Lead Generation – Research and build a pipeline of potential clients and partners
2. Outreach – Run cold outreach via calls, email and LinkedIn with strong, personalised messaging
3. Pipeline Tracking – Own the CRM/tracker and keep deal stages updated
4. Market Research – Deep-dive into industry trends and competitive landscape
5. Strategy Support – Collaborate directly with the founding team on BD initiatives
6. Weekly Reporting – Track and present outreach metrics and conversion data
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to maintain positive client relationships and provide timely responses
- Proficiency in lead generation and knowledge of market research techniques
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (completed or in progress)
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for research and customer relationship management
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to business growth initiatives
