The Role
We're looking for a sharp, hungry Business Development Intern who can hustle smart, talk to brands, and help us grow. If you're someone who gets excited by real conversations, real deals, and real impact — this is for you.
This isn't a "make spreadsheets in a corner" internship. You'll be in the room — pitching, attending events, building relationships, and seeing how a fast-growing AI startup actually operates.
What you'll do
Identify and reach out to D2C/eCommerce brands who'd love what Retner does
Qualify leads and set up discovery calls with the founding team
Represent Retner at startup exhibitions, networking events & brand meetups
Help build and manage our outreach pipeline (WhatsApp, DMs, Email, LinkedIn)
Work closely with founders — learn how deals are made in early-stage SaaS
Bring ideas. If you spot an opportunity, we actually listen.
Who we're looking for
Confident communicator
Genuinely curious about startups, AI, and how D2C brands grow
Self-starter who doesn't need hand-holding to get things done
Not afraid of rejection — you treat it as data, not defeat
Currently pursuing or recently completed any undergraduate degree
Prior sales/outreach/BD experience is a plus, not a must
