Role Description The Business Development Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The intern will support the development of new business opportunities by identifying potential partners, assisting with lead generation activities, and conducting market research on snack industry trends and competitors. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with prospective clients, maintaining customer databases, supporting sales presentations, and collaborating with the marketing and operations teams to enhance brand visibility. The intern will also help with customer inquiries and feedback to improve service quality and contribute to overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Lead conversion capabilities and an understanding of basic sales processes.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills to gather insights on competitors, customer preferences, and emerging trends.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.
- Interest in the food and beverage or snacks industry is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
