Business Development Intern
Iffort | Internship | With Full-Time Offer (PPO) Opportunity
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Intern to work closely with our Business Head and contribute to Iffort's growth story. This internship is designed to give you real, hands-on exposure to B2B sales, prospecting, and outreach in the digital transformation, social media, and tech space, not just observer experience.
High performers will be considered for a full-time Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) at the end of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting and Data Mining
•
Research and identify target companies and decision-makers (CXOs, VPs, Directors) in B2B digital transformation, social media, and tech sectors
•
Help build and maintain a qualified prospect database using tools like LinkedIn, CRM systems, and industry directories
•
Track industry trends and potential opportunities to assist in pipeline planning
Outreach and Lead Generation
•
Support multi-channel outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other platforms
•
Draft personalized, compelling messages that communicate Iffort's value proposition
•
Assist in initiating conversations with C-level executives and key stakeholders
•
Learn to qualify leads based on fit, need, and intent, with guidance from the Business Head
Meeting Coordination and Support
•
Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospects and the Business Head
•
Prepare pre-meeting briefs with relevant background on the prospect
•
Follow up on meeting outcomes and help maintain continuity in communication
CRM and Reporting
•
Log outreach activities, responses, and pipeline updates in the CRM
•
Prepare regular reports on outreach metrics and conversion progress
•
Share observations on what is working and suggest improvements
Who We Are Looking For
Background
•
Final-year students or recent graduates in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
•
Prior exposure to sales, marketing, or client-facing roles (college projects, freelance work, internships, or clubs) is a plus, but not required
•
Genuine interest in B2B tech, digital marketing, or SaaS
Skills and Traits
•
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can write a crisp, professional email without a template
•
Research: Comfortable digging into LinkedIn, company websites, and databases to find the right people
•
Organized and Detail-Oriented: You follow up, you do not drop the ball, and you keep notes
•
Tech-Curious: Open to learning CRM tools, email platforms, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
•
Self-Starter: You take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do next
What Success Looks Like
•
You are consistently booking qualified meetings for the Business Head
•
Your outreach messages get replies, and you learn to improve the ones that do not
•
You are building a real understanding of B2B sales cycles and decision-maker dynamics
•
By the end of the internship, you have made a measurable contribution to the pipeline
