Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and confident Business Development & Client Relations Intern to join our team. This role blends elements of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
You will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients, nurturing existing relationships, and supporting marketing-driven lead generation efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can build trust, drive conversions, and represent the company as a reliable point of contact.
Key Details:
Role: Business Development & Client Relations Intern
Type: Internship (Full-Time)
Compensation: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month + incentives
PPO Eligibility: Yes – based on performance after 1 year
Location: On-site (Gurugram)
Key Responsibilities:
a. Client Outreach & Sales:
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing clients from provided leads
- Communicate product/service value clearly and persuasively
- Follow up consistently to convert leads into paying customers
- Handle objections professionally and close sales
b. Client Relationship Management:
- Act as a primary point of contact (POC) for assigned clients
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Ensure client satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities
c. Marketing & Lead Generation Support
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels
- Support lead generation through email, social media, and outreach
- Create and execute outreach campaigns (e.g., SMS campaigns via the company platform) to engage leads and existing clients
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams on campaigns
d. Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and client interactions in CRM
- Track performance metrics (calls, conversions, engagement)
- Work closely with the sales team for smooth lead handover and closures
Requirements:
- Any graduate / pursuing graduation (Marketing, Business, or related fields preferred)
- 0–1 year experience or strong interest in sales, marketing, or client-facing roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in Hindi and/or English (regional languages are a plus)
- Confident, persuasive, and comfortable speaking with new people daily
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Target-driven mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM/tools (preferred but not mandatory)
