Role Description
This is an internship role for a Business Development Intern based in Mumbai. The intern will assist the team in identifying potential business opportunities, conducting market research, developing client relationships, and preparing presentations and reports. Responsibilities also include supporting the creation of strategic growth plans, assisting with marketing initiatives, and participating in meetings with stakeholders to explore partnerships. The intern will play an active role in driving business growth and strengthening the organization's presence in the e-waste ecosystem. It will be a non-paid engagement for the first two months followed by performance based compensation month 3 onwards.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research skills to identify trends and market opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and stakeholder meetings
- Proficiency in preparing presentations, reports, and other business documentation
- Basic understanding of business development strategies and market linkages
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Prior knowledge or interest in sustainability, waste management, or circular economy is a plus
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field
