We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Intern who is passionate about business growth and entrepreneurship. The intern will support market expansion initiatives, build strategic partnerships, and contribute to Cumma’s growth in new regions.
The role provides hands-on exposure to real-world business strategy, client interaction, and market research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research and identify growth opportunities.
• Assist in developing expansion strategies (e.g., new markets like Meghalaya).
• Identify and connect with potential partners and clients.
• Support in building and maintaining business relationships.
• Participate in negotiations and partnership discussions.
• Analyze competitors and industry trends.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and business proposals.
Selection Process
Round 1:
Submission of a Market Expansion Strategy for Cumma in Meghalaya (including innovative market approaches) (Note: Plagiarism checks will be done before inviting to Round 2, better not to use AI for task completion)
Round 2:
Evaluation of candidate’s confidence, communication, and understanding skills
Round 3:
Final face-to-face interview with CEO, CBO, and HR panel at Cumma office
Requirements• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Final semester students or 2025 graduates).
• Strong interest in business, startups, and entrepreneurship.
• Good communication skills in English (Hindi/regional language is a plus).
• Basic understanding of market research and business strategy.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
