About Us: At Bedlo (bedlo.app), we are building the modern operating system for Indian hospitality.
We are a mobile-first Property Management System (PMS) that helps hotels, resorts, and homestays run their entire operations right from their pocket. From AI-powered Aadhaar scanning and 30-second check-ins to automated GST billing, we are simplifying hotel management across India. 🇮🇳
The Role: As a Business Development Intern, you will be the growth engine for Bedlo. You will be on the front lines, responsible for identifying potential hotel and homestay partners, pitching our product, and driving new user acquisition in your region.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect & Hunt: Identify and build a pipeline of local hotels, guest houses, and homestays that would benefit from Bedlo's mobile-first PMS.
- Pitch & Connect: Reach out to hotel owners and managers via cold calls, WhatsApp, or in-person visits to clearly communicate the value of the Bedlo app.
- Drive Adoption: Successfully pitch the product, overcome objections, and convince hoteliers to download the app and set up their property.
- Market Intelligence: Gather crucial, ground-level insights and feedback from the market on what Indian hoteliers actually need to run their businesses better.
Who You Are:
- 🗣️ A confident and persuasive communicator, fluent in both English and Hindi (knowing the local regional language is a massive plus!).
- ⚡ A resilient go-getter who isn't afraid of cold outreach, handling objections, and hearing the word "no."
- 🤝 Able to break down software features and explain their value simply to users who might not be highly tech-savvy.
- 🚀 Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
- 🏨 Prior experience or strong interest in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or the hospitality industry!
The Details:
- 📍 Location: 100% Remote (with local field prospecting in your specific region)
- 💰 Stipend: INR 5,000 - 10,000 per month
