Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Lucknow, with an option for partial remote work. The Business Development Intern will be responsible for identifying and generating leads, conducting market research, developing potential client relationships, and assisting in creating proposals for business opportunities. The intern will also work closely with the sales and marketing teams to analyze market trends and present key findings.
What You'll Do
- Identify and research potential clients in the US and UK home services market — roofing, HVAC, remodeling, painting, and similar contractor verticals
- Build and maintain prospect lists using LinkedIn, Google Maps, industry directories, and other research tools
- Run cold outreach campaigns over email, LinkedIn, and other channels under the founder's guidance
- Identify potential white-label opportunities by researching marketing agencies that may need fulfillment support
- Help craft outreach messages, proposals, and case study presentations tailored to specific niches
- Track outreach activity, response rates, and pipeline status in our CRM
- Support the team in qualifying inbound leads from platforms like Upwork
- Conduct market research on competitors, industry trends, and contractor pain points
- Assist in preparing client-facing decks and onboarding materials
What We're Looking For
- Strong written English — you'll be writing outreach to US and UK prospects
- Comfort with research, data, and tools — Google Sheets, LinkedIn, basic CRM platforms
- Self-starter mindset — we move fast and you'll be expected to take ownership of your work
- Genuine interest in digital marketing, agency operations, or entrepreneurship
- Organized and detail-oriented — outreach at scale requires discipline
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Bonus if you have any prior exposure to cold outreach, sales, or lead generation
