Role Description The Business Development Intern – Affiliate Marketing role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon. The intern will support the growth affiliate marketing initiatives by identifying and researching potential affiliate partners, reaching out to prospects, and assisting in onboarding new affiliates. Daily tasks include conducting market and competitor research, maintaining partner databases, coordinating with internal marketing and sales teams, and helping prepare pitches, decks, and performance reports. The role also involves monitoring affiliate campaign performance, supporting communication with existing partners, and contributing ideas to improve affiliate strategies and partner engagement. This position offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, business development, and client relationship management within a fast-paced agency setting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with partners, internal teams, and stakeholders effectively.
- Candidates should possess Market Research and Marketing Strategy skills to analyze opportunities, understand trends, and contribute to affiliate campaign planning.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to support outreach, pitch affiliate programs, and assist in closing partnership opportunities.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including performance metrics, affiliate models, and online advertising.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides) for reports, presentations, and data tracking.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or a related field is preferred.
