Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, commercially driven Business Development / Growth Specialist to support deal flow generation across corporate M&A and technology investments.
This role is ideal for someone who understands startups, investors, and transaction ecosystems, and can operate in a high-trust, founder-facing environment, particularly across South East Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage founders, SMEs, and companies exploring M&A, fundraising, or strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, PE/VC funds, and strategic buyers
- Generate qualified deal flow aligned with the firm’s fintech platform and mandates
- Support outbound efforts via LinkedIn, email, and targeted outreach
- Understand client requirements and position the platform effectively
- Coordinate with internal teams on deal pipelines and introductions
- Maintain CRM and track conversations, leads, and conversions
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7 years experience in Business Development, Investment Banking, Consulting, or Startup Ecosystem roles
- Strong understanding of M&A, fundraising, or fintech/startup landscape
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable interacting with founders, CXOs, and investors
- Highly proactive, structured, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to investment banking / VC / PE / startup fundraising
- Experience with cross-border transactions or South East Asia markets
- Interest in technology and innovation-driven businesses
