Role Description
We are looking for a high-energy, persuasive, execution-focused Business Development & Growth Manager to work directly with the Founder at DMS Designs. The role is based in Bengaluru, with some flexibility for remote work. This role involves cold calling, field visits, client pitching, exhibition networking, outreach strategy creation, and converting prospects into long-term clients. You will not just sell services instead you will identify brand pain points and position DMS as the growth partner.
Compensation:
Fixed: ₹20k - ₹40k (based on experience & skills)
Commission: 5% - 8% of closed deal value
Performance bonus: Quarterly revenue bonus
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Outreach
- Cold calling brands & retail stores
- Visiting potential client stores/offices to pitch services
- Designing structured cold outreach strategies
- Managing CRM & follow-ups
2. Client Pitching
- Building customized pitch decks
- Understanding brand pain points
- Conducting discovery calls
- Handling objections
- Closing clients
3. Exhibitions & Events
- Attending trade shows & exhibitions
- Networking and lead capture
- Immediate pitch positioning
- Post-event structured follow-up
4. Growth Strategy
- Identifying high-potential markets
- Multi-lingual outreach
- Suggesting sales experiments
- Reporting weekly revenue pipeline
5. Required Skills
- Strong communication & persuasion skills
- Confident in pitching offline
- Experience in B2B sales (preferred)
- Multi-lingual (English, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu language knowledge preferred)
- Pitch deck building (PowerPoint/Canva)
- Strong follow-up plan and execution
Qualifications
- 0 - 1 year of Experience in Business Development or similar relevant roles.
- Proven expertise in Business Development, Market Research, and identifying Growth Opportunities
- Strategic Planning, Brand Strategy, and Competitor Analysis experience
- Strong Sales and Negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets
- Proficiency in Communication, Team Collaboration, and Relationship Management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
