Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Generalist Intern who will work closely with the team to support client outreach, partnerships, content creation, and user operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, creating presentations, working with social media, and contributing to the growth of a startup. You will gain hands-on exposure to business development, marketing, community building, and operational management while working with a fast-growing platform in the social experiences space.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Outreach & Business Development
- Identify and approach potential clients and brand partners
- Assist in building new business opportunities and partnerships
- Support follow-ups and communication with prospective clients
2. Pitch Deck Creation
Assist in creating pitch decks and proposals for clients
- Design presentations using Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint
3. Social Media Support
- Assist in managing and creating content for social media platforms
- Stay updated with social media trends
- Support ideation for brand content and campaigns
4. Content Creation
Create visual content using Canva
- Assist in editing short-form videos for Reels / Shorts
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during events or shoots
5. Customer Interaction
- Handle inquiries from users interested in attending events
- Assist with customer communication and support
6. User Screening & Verification
- Help screen and verify users before confirming participation
- Maintain community standards and ensure a safe experience for users
7. Basic Finance & Data Tracking
Assist in maintaining basic Excel trackers for clients, users, and campaigns
- Support in tracking payments, invoices, or budgets when required
- Help organise and analyse simple operational data
8. Operational Support
- Assist the team with event preparation and coordination when required
- Support internal tasks that help improve user experience and growth
Skills Required
Strong communication skills
Basic understanding of social media platforms
Familiarity with Canva
Basic video editing skills (Reels/Shorts preferred)
Basic knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets
- Basic understanding of finance or budgeting
- Ability to interact confidently with clients and users
- Organized and proactive mindset
Ideal Candidate
