Job Description: Business Development Expert (Equity-Based) – HiWox Role Overview
We are looking for a
Business Development Expert who can lead
partnerships, revenue channels, and ecosystem expansion for HiWox. This is a
high-ownership, strategic + execution role focused on building
strong B2B and institutional relationships in the healthcare and innovation ecosystem.
This is not just a sales role — you will be responsible for creating
structured, scalable growth channels and positioning HiWox as a
preferred partner in healthcare innovation.
Equity Structure (Important)
- This is a pure equity-based role (no fixed compensation initially)
- 3–4 rounds of discussions → 1-month NDA-based working cohort → Core team/cofounder agreement
- Equity finalized post funding & Pvt. Ltd. registration
- 5-year vesting structure
- Fixed compensation begins post funding
- You will be part of a core 25+ member equity team being built
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Building (Core Focus)
- Identify and build partnerships with hospitals, clinics, research institutions, corporates, and government bodies
- Develop structured collaboration models for pilot programs, product deployment, and research initiatives
- Position HiWox as a trusted innovation partner
- B2B Sales & Deal Execution
- Lead end-to-end deal cycles — outreach, pitching, negotiation, and closure
- Structure commercial models, MoUs, and long-term partnership agreements
- Ensure deals are aligned with long-term strategic value
- Expansion & Market Development
- Identify high-potential markets, institutions, and segments
- Define strategies for multi-location and multi-institution expansion
- Support scaling of validated innovations across different geographies
- New Revenue Streams & Business Models
- Identify and validate new monetization opportunities
- Explore opportunities in healthcare integrations, research collaborations, and institutional programs
- Contribute to long-term business model development
- Partner Success & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Ensure successful execution of pilot programs and collaborations
- Identify opportunities to expand and deepen partnerships
- Collaboration with Product & Innovation Teams
- Work closely with product, research, and innovation teams
- Align business development efforts with product capabilities and roadmap
- Translate market needs into actionable product insights
- Founder’s Office & Strategic Execution
- Work directly with the founder on high-impact initiatives and growth strategies
- Act as a bridge between strategy, partnerships, and execution
- Drive accountability and ensure closure-focused execution
Who Should Apply
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales (startup experience preferred)
- Strong network in healthcare, institutions, or innovation ecosystem is a plus
- Ability to handle end-to-end deal cycles independently
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking combined with execution capability
- High ownership mindset with strong problem-solving skills
