A high-growth player in the B2B IT & Business Services sector, delivering service-based solutions (cloud contact centre, managed services, and digital operations) to enterprise and mid-market customers across India. We sell outcome-driven, contract-based services that require consultative selling, solution scoping, and close coordination with delivery teams.
Primary title (standardized for market visibility): Business Development Executive (Service-based / B2B Sales)
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified B2B service opportunities through targeted outreach, cold calling, and inbound lead qualification.
- Qualify prospects, conduct discovery calls, map client needs to service offerings, and prepare tailored proposals and commercial quotes.
- Manage CRM updates, sales stages, and forecasting to ensure transparent pipeline and quota tracking.
- Coordinate with delivery, solutions, and pricing teams to develop SOWs, respond to RFPs, and ensure commercial viability.
- Drive deal closure by negotiating commercial terms, overcoming stakeholder objections, and securing approvals for contract sign-offs.
- Represent the company in on-site client meetings and demos across India; travel as required to close strategic accounts.
Skills & QualificationsMust-Have
- Proven track record in B2B service-based sales with consistent quota attainment
- Experience using CRM platforms—Salesforce CRM or HubSpot CRM—for pipeline management
- Hands-on experience in lead generation and cold calling for enterprise or mid-market accounts
- Proficient in sales collateral and proposal writing, including RFP responses and SOW preparation
- Strong sales pipeline management and MS Excel proficiency for forecasting and reporting
- Comfortable conducting on-site client meetings and business discussions across India
Preferred
- Experience selling SaaS, managed services, or cloud contact centre solutions
- Contract negotiation experience for service agreements and SOWs
- Prior account management exposure or cross-functional coordination with delivery teams
