Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive located in Kolkata. The BDE will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in Upwork, building client relationships, and assisting in creating strategies to expand the company’s market reach. The role includes conducting market research, maintaining client databases, scheduling meetings, and ensuring smooth communication between internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to help achieve company growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork daily
- Write customized, high-converting proposals (no copy-paste)
- Understand client requirements and suggest solutions
- Communicate with leads and handle follow-ups
- Schedule meetings for senior team members
- Maintain proposal and lead tracking sheet
- Build long-term client relationships
- Achieve monthly bidding and conversion targets
- Client Communication Skill is a must
Required Skills:
- 2-3 Years of experience in the same profile is required
- Good written and spoken English (Preferably from an English medium Background)
- Working knowledge of the Upwork platform
- Strong proposal writing skills
- Research ability
- Basic knowledge of IT Products and Digital Marketing Services is preferred
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
