Business Development Executive/Manager – Clinical Data Management System (CDMS)

Role Overview
RCS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to expand our Clinical Data Management System (CDMS) business in US market. The ideal candidate should have a strong industry network and the ability to generate and close business opportunities independently.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business for Clinical Data Management & Digital Trial Solutions in US.
- Promote RCS capabilities across CTMS, CDMS/EDC, eConsent, ePRO/eCOA, and RTSM/IRT platforms.
- Engage with sponsors to understand study needs and position integrated, tech-enabled solutions.
- Manage end-to-end BD cycle: lead generation → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client proposals and solutions.
- Deliver capability presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and client pitches.
- Build and maintain relationships with pharma, biotech, and medical device clients.
- Identify opportunities in decentralized and hybrid clinical trials.
- Maintain strong pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
- Represent RCS in client meetings and industry forums.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field (MBA preferred).
3–8+ years of experience in Business Development within CRO / Clinical Research / Clinical Data Management.
Strong understanding of clinical trial lifecycle and CDM processes.
Working knowledge of systems such as CTMS, CDMS/EDC, eConsent, ePRO/eCOA, and RTSM/IRT.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations like ICH-GCP and FDA guidelines.
Proven ability to generate leads, build pipeline, and close deals independently.
Established network within pharma, biotech, or medical device companies (US preferred).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a commission / project-based model.
